What I liked
The words “miraculously entertaining” and “absolutely must-see” do not even begin to cover it. I’m in awe of her raw talent but also her vulnerability and her honesty. When they say “a truly charismatic performer” they mean artists like Liza. This show is an explosion of creativity, a perfect combination of light and dark. It was fun and funny, uplifting and moving, a display of real artistry from a woman who has mastered it. Do disco and therapy even go together?!?! They do now.
Liza had us in a chokehold from the second she stepped on stage. That is the sheer magnitude of her charisma and her energy. Disco Therapy is the best example of the healing power of the arts, an impeccable demonstration of vulnerability, artistic freedom, talent and courage. I’m in awe of her raw power and her strength to glue herself together over and over and over again until the result is this performer and this show I just witnessed. She is a magnificent talent wrapped in charisma and magnetism.
Artists like Liza is why festivals like the Fringe exist and why they’re important. I will never forget this night!

My overall impression
Liza took her broken heart and made it into astounding art. I’m very grateful for her generosity: she used her place of healing and expression to provide true moments of healing, connection and pure joy for her audience.
