What I liked
It’s very challenging to explore themes of grief and loss around cancer and suicide all while making me laugh…yet still feel. Liza does this masterfully in Disco Therapy. I left feeling inspired as both a patron and a writer.
What I didn't like
I wouldn’t mind the show being longer!
My overall impression
Brilliant! Liza expertly blends comedy and music to cradle us as we explore very sad themes. She’s truly one of the best performers I’ve encountered so far and this show blew me away. Liza made me laugh a lot and cry a bit as well—brilliant work!
