My overall impression

How do you find truthful moments, and is it possible to string them together and make a life? My One Woman Show (The Search For A Truthful Moment) is a remarkable play, a journey really, that hits its target many times.
A journey which starts out showcasing the frustrations of today’s actors, passing through memories happy, sad, strange and frustrating until we reach a truthful moment.
The writing is excellent, the acting exceptional, the directing superb.
Stefan Marks is one of L.A.‘s most gifted writers, directors and stage performers, but it is his dedication to those three crafts and his attention to detail that make his performances stand out. Is it possible to find truth when most of us are untruthful? This show should be given a longer run, it’s one of the best I’ve seen and this is the direction in which theatre should be going.
