My overall impression
A brilliantly performed, superbly written tribute to an incredibly special life. From lights up, the show is packed with surprising moments that turn this one-man show from a meta-satire of shows like it, into one that may very well have a far greater impact on you than the rest. A roller coaster ride of fearless emotion, laugh out loud comedy, and deep truths about what it is to be, well… human – without ever being precious or maudlin. The hour unfolds like an Instagram biography of a man searching for meaning in the meaningless of life. And after deep examination and intense curiosity, he finally comes to the inevitable, surprising conclusion, hinted at in the show’s brilliant title. As good a one person show as you’ll ever see.
