What I liked

I “like” that I’ll never be going to another Fringe/Broadwater show again.

What I didn't like

I usually try and fly under the radar, but couldn’t let this slide.

I saw the poster and thought at first that it was the next iteration of ‘Fringe, Tonight, Alive’ (FTA) – a show I would see as many times as I could the last 2 years of Fringe. It was an incredible production, a ‘late night’ style show for Fringe, where you could preview of a lot of other shows, all in one! The host was a PRO. Hilariously witty, off the cuff, a true talent. I had even discovered and ended up backing another artist that was featured in his show in 2024.

BUT! Come to find out, this show is not associated with FTA at all! It’s another “artist” who ripped off the ‘Fringe, Tonight, Alive’ poster artwork, defaced it with Trump and his cronies and personally talked sh*t on the FTA host and his professional career RIGHT IN THE SHOW DESCRIPTION! And it’s STILL THERE in the middle of Fringe!

I met the host of FTA last year, and he was a super chill fella who cared so much about supporting his fellow artists. Its BS this was allowed – he doesn’t deserve to be ripped off and belittled like this. In what world is this OK!?

Shame on you, Peter Newell. Fringe, Do better.

My overall impression

I can’t believe the Fringe and the Broadwater allowed this show to happen after ripping off another artist’s poster artwork and personally talking sh*t on him and his career for no reason other than to stir up interest in this show!
