My overall impression
Alicia Ontiveros’ Task Force 48 is absolutely incredible. It’s a poignant commentary on both the current political climate and our society. She presents big, beautiful ideas with humor, insight and compassion. It’s completely hilarious, yet I was caught off guard by such deeply personal moments that I teared up. Everyone did. Everything landed. Her writing was masterful and I’ve never seen anyone engage their audience like she does. When you step into her theater, whether you’re ready or not, you become part of her committee. It’s an experience everyone should have.
