The music and story flow so naturally and get your heart thumping. I left the show and was singing the music on the way home. James is riveting, as are all the performers. Michael Thomas Grant as Jimi’s sponsor and Dionne Gibson as his manager are fantastic! The amount of talent in this show will leave you in awe. Terrific directing by Patrick Mulvey.
What I didn't like
I think the venue needed more Kleenex, as there were a lot of heartfelt tears. I wish this show was running longer!
My overall impression
This is a spectacular show! James Byous is a true talent—he wrote a very personal story about his journey through addiction but wrapped it in humor, tears, and rock music that gets you wanting to dance. I have never seen one performer with such great songwriting, writing, singing and acting talent all wrapped into one. Surrounded by stellar performers, I was riveted and came back to see another show. Don’t miss this!
