What I liked

All of the songs were great. I loved that despite Jimi being the star of the show, the entire cast’s talents were highlighted.

What I didn't like

What was able to be accomplished with a limited budget for Fringe was really great. Sight lines naturally could be improved every now and again, but it still worked within this space. I would love to see how a venue more friendly for a theatrical versus a musical performance would allow this cast and crew to create even further.

My overall impression

This show was amazing. I was expecting it to be great, but wow. It deserves full houses and to be experienced. The cast is so talented. Coming from a theatrical background, I appreciated all that went into the music, the staging, the writing, and the whole experience to make it unique and riveting. I really wish I had the opportunity to see it again. This is what art is supposed to be. James Byous gives a fantastic performance that is raw in a beautiful way. It is deeply moving, naturally funny, and the singing and songs are just so F-ing badass. See the show, buy the album, follow for more is my recommendation. My soul received a gift coming to this show.
