My overall impression
James has accomplished a fantastic feat by writing and performing about an alcoholic’s turbulent journey through life and the friends that love him. I knew this show was going to be great, but I didn’t realize how great it would be. Everything from the music to the singing, the choreography and acting are seamlessly woven together in such a captivating way that you feel for Jimi’s struggles because you are so drawn into his world that he’s created for the audience. If you only see one show at fringe this year, make it be this one.
