I liked all of Tanner’s personal paintings revealed on stage that helped tell the story.
What I didn't like
Maybe a few faster transitions between Tanner’s narrator and Dr. character, but then again, perhaps we needed time to absorb the story being told to us.
My overall impression
Hi, I’m Tanner :-) is the perfect example of how art can heal the soul. What started out as something akin to Children’s Theatre, which this viewer has performed, slowly developed into a more serious subject matter of violence, loss and grief. Almost as if the audience was bearing witness to Tanner’s loss of innocence right in front of us. Very powerful.
