What stayed with me was Tanner’s willingness to transform grief into connection. The audience laughs together, cries together, and ultimately leaves thinking about and grateful for the people they love. Bring tissues.

My overall impression
A beautiful, vulnerable show with a huge heart. The show feels wonderfully handmade and deeply personal. Tanner Cipriano begins with cute and sweet paintings, jokes, stories, and an infectious sense of play. As it unfolds, however, Tanner reveals the true story of a traumatic event that changed his life and his family’s lives forever. What follows is heartbreaking, honest, and handled with remarkable generosity.
