Tanner is very good at telling an anecdote while peppering witticisms and visual gags throughout. We all contain multitudes, but Tanner makes an effort to reveal not only the many facets of himself (from punster to painter to ACAB and more), but his family as well. What started out as something akin to Children's Theatre, which this viewer has performed, slowly developed into a more serious subject matter of violence, loss and grief. Incredible performance by Tanner! He told his story with dignity and compassion. He was somehow able to talk about the most horrific events, and yet weave in the comic aspects too.
