What I didn't like
I think the size of the audience was a factor here. The show seemed to start very slowly and I couldn’t help but wonder if the flow could have been better with more audience energy in the space.
The show is starts as a standup set and then meanders into a one man show here and there along the way. Could it be a little more of one or the other?
My overall impression
A beautiful and quirky, coming of age story focusing on a gay man trying to fully realize himself without losing touch with his mildly homophobic, sports obsessed, New England dad.
