What I liked
I absolutely adored his humorous and masterful storytelling. Ben clearly knows what he’s doing when it comes to crafting a narrative that’s equal parts enjoyable, funny, and oh-so-tender. We also all fell in love with his song, which shows that Ben is a total triple threat!
What I didn't like
I thought everything Ben brought to this show and the stage worked. With how strong his show already is, I can’t wait to see it grow, evolve, and truly solidify its voice.
My overall impression
I fell in love with Ben’s story, laughed immensely at his jokes, and got cozy with him as he took us down the nostalgic route of his childhood. With this being a new piece taking the stage for the first time, Ben has the amazing ability to bring the audience into the process of his writing, which gave us the opportunity to go on this beautiful gay journey with him.
