What I liked
Acting an directing were very good. It was a delight to see this rarely done piece performed.
What I didn't like
As I said, I am a purist. Period costumes. Proper gender actors. This should have been a small enough production to enable both.
My overall impression
Overall very well done. Certainly the high point of my day at the Fringe. I really would have liked it better in period costume. Performances were very good, especially Alice and Arden, but men in the supporting male roles would have carried it a bit better in my view I realize this can be a problem , but I remain a purist.
