What I liked
I particularly loved the supporting performances of Claire Fry and Sarah Summers. I am from the south and these characters warmed my heart with nostalgia.
What I didn't like
This is a very small note. But when Joe walks into the house during the second scene- his bag looked very empty. I know that considering where he was coming from he probably didn’t have many personal possessions, but maybe put a couple things in there to make it look more weighted and realistic. This is a prop pet peeve of mine. But the show was really phenomenal!
My overall impression
I loved Redemption song! It was so heartwarming, charming, and sweet. The acting was superb, the music was beautiful, and I love a messy southern drama.
