There is not a single dull moment in the show. I barely noticed that time was passing because I was so involved with what was going on – it was riveting! Also, her recall and explanation of subspace is the most clear and best I’ve ever heard.
What I didn't like
Honestly, no notes!
My overall impression
This show is one of the bravest, if not THE bravest one I’ve seen at Hollywood Fringe – an unflinching reveal of how her marriage disintegrates. Mimi does something very unique: she tells her story without defensiveness nor justification. She admits she stayed too long after the lies, and she makes no excuses for it. She simply exposes, literally, the truth of what happened, and it is remarkable. Phenomenal, vulnerable, incredible work done by a master performance artist.
