What I liked
I really loved the commitment to the bits and how far they leaned into the silly while still being fair to the source material. Lotta great comedy in this!
What I didn't like
Would love to hear the songs with a fuller arrangement than only piano, but I understand fringe and budgets lol maybe on the next run! Seems like a show that could run for a while.
My overall impression
Silly, campy, fun! Everything you’d want from a parody musical. Enjoyed all the references to some of my fave romance novels and I thought the actors were particularly fantastic in this. This one is for the booktok romance girlies :)
