What I liked
The performances were stellar. Every character was played with such joy and connection to the ensemble. It’s a saucy good time that is so playful and joyful, a true gift to behold. The music is beautifully composed. The voices and harmonies are phenomenal. The choreo and blocking is tactful and helps tell the story. Just a well done show all around.
What I didn't like
Solo voices could be quiet at times, but that’s super nitpicky. It’s so good! I honestly wish a mic’d version would be done in a larger space! It’s the kind of show that could fill an auditorium.
My overall impression
The music, the voices, the choreography, the outrageously specific romance novel references… It’s an absolute blast and a must-see musical!
