What I liked
The choreography was exquisite. Great dance numbers and blocking. Audience participation was fun. Silly string was great! Family FOOD was a fun addition too.
What I didn't like
Sometimes the music was too loud to hear the soft voices or certain lyrics in the songs – so I feel like I probably missed some great lines.
Grandpa Seth handed me a cardboard sheet that said “STOP THEM!” Which I LOVE being the center of attention in someone else’s show, but I got it pretty early into the musical, and then got left with it for the rest of the show. No one collected it. I put it back on the stage on my way out – I hope that’s OK – but while I loved being involved in the show, I felt like I involuntarily got stuck holding someone else’s prop.
My overall impression
So stupid fun! :) I extremely enjoyed the ride. Laugh after laugh – the songs were great. This was a great show, and I highly recommend EVERYONE that knows how terribly terrific “Troll 2” is sees this. A special homage to a silly pseudo-horror.
