What I liked
The decision to score the show with live music really elevated the whole production, enhancing an already captivating narrative buoyed by rockstar performances from our two leads played by Nikki Marie and Charlie Bauer. A lot of care was taken to make the living room the show takes place in feel lived in and reflective of the two personalities who inhabit the space.
Thoughtful — I think that’s the main word I would use to describe this piece. No element was without purpose, Evelyn’s writing sharp and layered, the acting specific and nuanced, the tech precise and meaningful. You really need to add Arguments! to your Fringe schedule and let this fraught love story work its magic on you

I am somehow both of these characters at the same time and I don’t love that for me

A tight dramedy packed with care and creativity, Arguments! is a very impressive production that utilizes a staggering array of theatrical techniques to convey a story that manages to be both simple and complex, heartwarming and heartbreaking — and most importantly, so very human
