Loved the concept, but I’m bias. I love jazz.
What I didn't like
The dialogue/lines. After a few revisions this can go from not bad to GREAT. Seriously. The bones are great as it is. Hope this shows again in the future but with a better script. And the slap… We want to hear the noise so the impact is there instead of that awkward shit you guys did where he slaps the air, have her place a hand over her cheek or under her chin so the guy has something to slap. The slap NEEDS to be heard.
PRODUCTION: Have an ashtray during the last vignette. If you guys don’t have one or don’t want to buy one. Make a makeshift one out of foil (sincerely, a smoker who used to smoke indoors)
My overall impression
Not bad. Accidentally found the show while smoking a cigarette outside cause my roommate was having loud gay sex at our apartment. Wanted to give the asshole some space so popped my head in to see the show.
