Had the pleasure of seeing this during its initial run in NYC and was fortunate to catch it again for its West Coast premiere! This show is a very rare theatrical opportunity in 2026 to engage with some very challenging and relevant issues and it does so with deep perception and sensitivity.... full review

This play offered a raw look into how mental health and fitting into societal norms shapes our actions and behaviors. Excellent and engaging! This show held my interest and attention the entire time. It was like reading a good book with a main character you become attached to because they draw you in with their warmth, authenticity, humor and unique story. The presentation style and content is very special, like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Penina’s use of honesty and humor throughout made her so lovable. I wanted to hear everything she wanted to share. ... full review
