Pining in Prickly Pear Patch

What I liked

I liked the silliness of the tone, the gender roles being reversed, the way they cued the audience with signs, and played with all the expectations they created through running gags. Though my favorite running gag was Sinistrina putting on more and more mustaches with every new appearance.

What I didn't like

The only thing that got tired for me was the Librarian mispronouncing words but I imagine for most people that’s funny and I’d imagine for younger audience members it’s fun to parse out what the words he’s saying are.

I don’t necessarily think it’s something that needs to be tweaked at all, I just needed to fill this improvement box about a show I genuinely enjoyed from start to finish.

My overall impression

Pining in Prickly Pear Patch was a delightfully campy romp!
