What I liked
The whole play is stellar, but I’m particularly impressed with the writing. This show tackles very difficult and uncomfortable subjects (to say the absolute least) but the blending of Mandy Rubeli’s compassionate, hilarious, and occasionally heartbreaking script with Hailey Hudson’s grounded, understated, honest acting softens the blow without lessening the impact.
The twists of the plot are surprising and serve to complicate the narrative in a way that is poignant, sobering, deep, and at times even a little sweet.
Speaking of sweet, I’m always here for a platonic relationship between a man and a woman. There’s not enough of that in media.
What I didn't like
I felt like the play ended too soon. I hope a full-length script is in the works, as there’s so much more I want to hear from both Rubeli and this story.

A quirky comedy that deftly delves into dark and disturbing territory…
