What I liked
I especially liked the birthday scene, and the scene with the big reveal! Michael’s performance in these scenes was especially excellent.
What I didn't like
There were a few long scene changes, which pulled me out of the action.
My overall impression
Punish Me is an unflinching look at some dark human possibilities. The characters were organic, and the play had a tasteful peppering of jokes. I sometimes felt that the story had too many moving parts, though. Brianna Bell delivered a standout supporting performance.
