What I liked
I loved that there were lots of quick moving scenes. It kept the story flowing and the environment active. I’m not typically a theater goer because I tend to get bored pretty quickly. With Punish Me, that was not the case at all! I ate it all up! The cast was strong and fun. I also loved that Nick breaks the fourth wall and talks to the audience at certain points within the play. I highly recommend especially if you typically don’t like theater. This is a film-like experience.

My overall impression
Wow! I didn’t know what to expect walking into the theater but what a journey. Damon and Nick’s chemistry from the beginning set for an amazing show. The storyline was intense, which was expected (per the poster/description). However, there were many moments of comedic relief. I felt those moments were a wonderful addition and complimented the serious nature of the piece well.
