My overall impression
A performance of PUNISH ME with a slightly different cast tonight (6/7/2026) at the Hudson Backstage Theater proved just as sharp and professional as the one I saw in February. It remains a well‑written thriller, penned by Michael Dukakis and performed by him alongside a well‑chosen cast. Beyond being a versatile actor, Dukakis shows himself to be an alert dramatist, filling his authentic scenes with cinematic pacing, tension, and genuine entertainment. I truly recommend it — and I’d absolutely love to see this as a movie too. 👏👏👏👏👏
