What I liked
If you’ve ever met a narcissist, this play portrays one perfectly. Michael and Jose have great chemistry and portray this toxic relationship really well. I loved the use the stage. The layout of the theater is very unique and the play does a good job of using the entirety of the space.
What I didn't like
It’s an intense experience that doesn’t shy away from uncomfortable topics. Audiences should prepare themselves for some dark themes before going in.
My overall impression
An intense experience, Punish Me is a dark thriller that takes you slowly on the journey of being seduced by a narcissist. It’s a heavy show and you should be prepared to be mentally and emotionally shocked by some of the scenes on stage.
