It was an amazing play with deep emotion and characters! Loved how the production design was set perfectly for this story. The loosely based on real events story gets a bit scary at times and leaves you with very strong feelings. This play will stay with you even long after you’ve left the theatre.... full review

I really enjoyed PUNISH ME. It was riveting - played out like a psychological thriller where I felt myself leaning into it wanting to know more and more. Great cast and direction is on point. What I loved the most was Michael's character and his relationship to the audience when he breaks the 4th wall and talks to us as the character - wonderfully funny and intimate. I can see this play finding it's full breath and colors on screen.... full review

This is by far the best production I’ve seen at this year’s Fringe. It’s clear that an incredible amount of effort, passion, and love went into this project. Congratulations to everyone involved!... full review

This is a well-acted psychological drama that has one hooked right away wondering where this relationship will be headed. The audience can see but unfortunately, the protagonist can't. This play examines the world of those who want something so badly, they can't see the obstacles in the way. ... full review

PUNISH ME is a psychological thriller written by Michael Dukakis, who plays the main character, Nick. Dukakis is joined by a well-rounded cast. It is inspired by true events that follow Nick, a vulnerable Greek screenwriter whose desperate bid for a Hollywood breakthrough leads him into a toxic marriage with a manipulative con artist. The fast-paced production utilizes a cinematic, vignette-based style to capture the suffocating reality of narcissistic abuse, gaslighting and financial exploitation. The play delivers a brave, raw and intensely cathartic examination of ambition and victimization that resonates deeply with survivors of emotional manipulation. Next Sunday, June 21, is the last performance. Don't miss it.... full review

What a beautiful performance from both Michael Dukakis and Jose Edwardo Moreno. The two of them worked together so well. We were on the edge of our seats for most of the show, often holding our breath.... full review

Wow! I didn’t know what to expect walking into the theater but what a journey. Damon and Nick’s chemistry from the beginning set for an amazing show. The storyline was intense, which was expected (per the poster/description). However, there were many moments of comedic relief. I felt those moments were a wonderful addition and complimented the serious nature of the piece well.... full review
