This is probably the best show I saw at Fringe (so far) this year.
Dance shows are always beautiful. Dancers are extraordinary. And no exception here. But most dance shows have nothing to say, or the message is so obtuse in the movement that all meaning is obscured by the dance itself.
That is not the case here. Here the dance is driven by and supports a very strong narrative.
From beginning to end the whole show is about what it is to be a woman who has the audacity to get older. The indignities aren’t spoken about, but they’re evident.
