What I liked
I loved the textual analysis & the organic reactions and interactions. This is a show that everyone can learn from. Payton was dropped in and vulnerable and easy to listen to.
What I didn't like
It was amazing! The music in the audience for the burlesque dances could be louder for a more immersive experience.
My overall impression
A must-see this fringe season! Powerful, personal, political, and vulnerable, Lady Satan pulls you into her world and elevates the text of the Bible, shining a light on the original text, and how the modern evangelicals have twisted the meaning to demonize trans people. A relatable, sexy, and joyous show!
