Good Boys Anonymous is a beautifully realized show that uses the 12-Step-meeting motif to explore a wide range of people-pleasing behavior and its often self-harming consequences. It is well written, wonderfully acted, and extremely relatable. Who amongst us has not felt the need to live up to someone else’s expectations to our own detriment? Although author Bill Prudish wrote the entire piece, each character’s story feels unique to the individual telling it. This is a tribute to the writing, directing, and the skills of the cast. A moving and well-crafted piece of theatre.
