Great acting as these actors invited the audience in to their support group for do-gooders with such honesty and vulnerability as they shared. And one feels they are a part of this group, I certainly recognized myself in some of the sharing.
I just want to be bad! Same time next week?...

I was fully present throughout each moment of GBA! The writing and actors transformed that theater into a space for deep personal reflection. Each story approached the topic from a unique and authentic angle making it easy to connect with the characters and examine my own relationship with being a good girl. This show will stay with me for a long time. ...

Good Boys Anonymous is an extremely heartfelt representation of a universal feeling--being good out of duty. We hear many different stories from people of different walks of life, but they all have something in common...their love or fear keeps them from speaking their mind and trusting their gut in order to just be themselves. And these stories are told with passion and ease by wonderful actors who truly embody this perspective. I loved the setting of the show, how the audience feels like it's part of this support group (because we all could be). And the writing is deep and poetic while grounded and truthful. This play will make you think in all the useful ways!...

Creator Bill Prudich has put together a deeply moving and thought-provoking theatrical experience in the guise of a support group for "good boys" (and girls!). If you’ve ever been expected to deny your own feelings, identity, or trauma to "keep the peace” or protect someone who has abused you…you may well identity with more than one of the characters. The simplicity of the staging made the emotional truths ring all the more truly. ...

Absolutely loved the simplicity of this show! The characters are wonderfully authentic, and the story is filled with heart. Chances are you'll see a little of yourself in one of them. I did! That's part of what makes it so special....

As a bit of a “good boy” myself, I found the show powerful and relatable! Tightly written and paced, it covers a lot of ground in only an hour. From one moment to the next it’ll have you tense with discomfort and laughing out loud....

Bill Prudich has given us more than a collection of monologues set in a group therapy milieu. He has mapped out with exquisite compassion how six random people navigate a knife's edge of balancing public expectations and their individual habits, hurts and hangups. The reckoning between the two creates a beautiful hour of theatre, sharply written and brilliantly performed. Go see it....
