What I liked

I cannot speak enough about how much I loved the physical comedy in the show! Alex is a wonderful clown, letting us into the mind of the maestro with every expression and movement. I suggest arriving on time to ensure that you catch some excellent live cello playing. I loved how far they took the absurdity of the show. I’d say more but you should just see it.

My overall impression

The physical comedy in Big Maestro is top notch! I felt like I was watching something from another era. Alex (Big Maestro) and Peter (Little Cello Boy) play off each other in such a chaotic and fun way – they build the tension of the show in a way where you can’t wait to see what’s next, but you are also terrified to see what’s next (for Peter’s sake).
