A clever production with a clear and deep love of vaudeville; a dynamic two-hander that keeps you guessing and fully utilizes the medium. The performances are spot on; unmistakable shades of the Marx Brothers, with the silent-but-expressive musician and the gregariously-vocal ambiguously-European counterpoint. Both leads were committed and authentic, despite the absolute insanity that they were drawing the audience in with. High-energy and extremely creative, it was an extremely memorable evening of independent theater that I only wish went for a longer runtime! ... full review

A consuming, moody, and gutsy study of unhealthy boundaries and expectations. Cello Boy and Maestro feel like family in a usefully nightmarish way: vulnerable, defensive, and highly embodied. Their performance begs the question how do we reconcile each other’s societally prescribed roles while caring for who we are as humans with personal wants and needs?... full review
