Drew Petriello knows how to write a comedy!! One moment you’re wrapped up in the genuine stakes of the election and the next, a character says something idiotic and reminds you where the show actually takes place. This writing cleverly poked fun at corruption in politics without feeling bleak or heavy-handed.
Thomas Hollow came off as a naive, arrogant, yet likable presidential hopeful, which is quite hard to pull off! Reid Emmons was a comedic superstar in this play. I was cracking up anytime he was onstage doing his silly accent.
