What I liked
Really wonderful dialogue and fantastic comedy beats. What a stellar cast as well, with the actor playing Tom Ryan perfectly balancing comedy and heart. He is the definition of a character to root for! I also loved the costumes; when they first came onstage I thought “would this be what a statistician would wear for a presidential campaign?” Which perfectly paid off after the reveal (which I 10000% did not see coming and was delighted by as someone who has been hearing about this show for months!)
What I didn't like
Something SO small, I thought the lead woman was going to end up with the Texan (I am so bad with names I am sorry) and that was going to be the pivot of Act III. Less “what i didnt like” and more Fanfiction on my part, lol.
My overall impression
A hilarious, sharply written satire with extra-large heapings of heart!
