What I liked
Emily is a masterful world creator and brings the audience along for the ride! Incredible characters come to life before your eyes. You will laugh and cry along with them while you contemplate how delicate life is!

My overall impression
In Escape Room, Emily Boyle brilliantly explores a traumatic event and the guardrails that get put up (subconsciously or not) in order to process it. This powerful, fast paced solo show examines love, relationships, memory, and power as it plumbs the depths of what it means to survive and keep going. Equal measures of heart breaking and life affirming!
