What I liked
Really liked the acting and was taken with the brevity of the piece. Nothing superfluous, nothing over indulgent. A rather pure distillation of a phenomenon most, if not all, can relate to. A well-written illustration of the psychology of a nuerotic creative person lol.
What I didn't like
This was the preview performance so i assume some of the beats will be polished up, especially in the dynamics of certain poignant lines. All the pieces are definitely there, and i could really feel the messages being conveyed, but i feel like tightening some of the finer pacing points could really unleash the material.
My overall impression
Very personal and meta. An almost irritatingly incisive, and yet hilarious, view of one’s inner monologue— the battle we sometimes wage with ourselves in our own mind.
