I’ve already stated what I really enjoyed but if I were to pinpoint my favorite moment it would have to be the final moment when the prop was held up (trying to stay spoiler free) and the lights faded to black. A touching image that provoke audible gasps from the audience and had me choked up.
What I didn't like
No improvements in the play but I entered the venue 15 minutes before the show started and just walked right on in and took my seat. No checking of my name on the Will Call list or anything. It’s not that big of a deal on my end but Hollywood Fringe may want to watch out for that in the future.
My overall impression
My first Hollywood Fringe show. Heck, my first one person show! Listening to Eric tell his story as Charlie felt like listening to a friend telling a gripping story of his past, warts and all. Eric wasn’t acting. He became Charlie and I was truly on the edge of my seat waiting to hear how everything in his fictional life turned out.
Thank you Hollywood Fringe for hosting such a wonderful event.
