What I liked
Ryan’s performance was so grounded and he knew the characters point of view so well that the transition from one character to the next was seamless. I was very moved by his story and the cruelty of the step father. It’s a beautiful story, one that I fear is more common than not but Ryan infused it with so much humor that you’re laughing wildly as your heart is breaking.
