What I liked
The character work was so strong and specific. I always knew just who was talking and their attitude toward the narrator. Ryan has strong acting chops!
What I didn't like
great work!
My overall impression
I was very moved by this story of parents behaving badly. I could relate to it, and to the ways family members manipulate memories, intentionally or not. I was inspired by the narrator facing up to the abusive stepdad and finally walking away from the abuse.
