What I liked

the psychological accuracy, your timing, and your character work

What I didn't like

i was a bit disheartened at times when several audience members would laugh (maybe due to uncomfortable-ness?) during incredibly serious scenes that were clearly depictions of abuse. unfortunately you can’t always predict the reactions, and control them even less so, but i thought ryan did a fantastic job at separating the comedy from the tragedy (and combining the two when it fit) and i hope that people are more aware and observant of what they are actually seeing in front of them the future.

My overall impression

so well done! ryan does an amazing job of showcasing and highlighting some of the psychological effects and narcissistic tactics of dysfunctional family dynamics, and really sold it with his character work. it is written and formatted thoroughly and had me locked in the entire time.
