Every single character, including the weird henchman who kept coming in as various different characters… SO GOOD, so funny, and so distinct. I fell in love with the uniquely crafted clumsiness (which I could tell was intentional and built with care and love for the characters), the character work was a sight to see! The music? Bop after bop. This send up on the manosphere, not an uncommon theme in this year’s Fringe, absolutely knocked it out of the park (and this show did it uncommonly well). The jokes were relentless, and I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a long time. The staging, the use of projections and props, the choreography… It’s everything I want from a show. Not a Fringe a show. A show (period).
What I didn't like
Sometimes I wished they were mic’d for the songs, was hard to hear but only inba couple moments. BUT it didn’t fucking matter, I leaned in. It’s truly an amazing show!
My overall impression
This might be my favorite show of the festival. And after it’s all said and done (so long as I don’t miss any in the next couple days), I’ll have seen 72 shows. So, trust me. It is one of the funniest shows I have EVER seen, not just at this Fringe. It is peak satire, brilliantly written, performed, and produced. And the music is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this show.
