What I liked
I really appreciated how the show never got preachy or swung low. The writer clearly understands how to make a point while never forgetting to keep you entertained along the way.
What I didn't like
The only thing I was confused by was the “woke” character. It had nothing to do with her performance (which was great btw) but had to do with the messaging of the character. I wonder if this character should have been named “reality” instead of “woke” considering what they were saying.
My overall impression
Hilarious show, impressive script, and fantastic performances. You expect an idea like this to only work as a sketch, but instead you get a fully thought out experience with earned character arcs and a songs that stick with you long after. Everyone involved should be very proud of what they were able to achieve.
