What I liked
Each actor is fantastic. It’s impressive enough to give such comedic, larger-than-life performances, but to also infuse nuance and pathos is a real achievement. The script is also pitch perfect. No moments overstay their welcome and the characters journeys feel perfectly timed. I also really loved how much the audience was involved and included in the jokes. The whole team did a wonderful job and they should all be incredibly proud of this show!

My overall impression
I was very excited to see this show and thought I knew what to expect, but it is so much more than you assume it will be in the best way possible. I don’t want to spoil the show, but each character is fleshed out and the script takes you on a journey, rather than relying on jokes for its entirety. I was ready to have a fun night dogging on the patriarchy (which I did), but I was also reminded that stereotypical, rigid masculinity is harmful even to those that participate in it. Bravo!
