I like seeing Andiel getting and out of trouble. I like how genuinely delighted they were by anything the audience gave them. I like the rapport with the tech and the band. The improvised songs were great. The movement was incredible. The frustration with the smoke machine was palpable. So many fun things found and invented.
What I didn't like
More space btw tables/chairs. I get it. It was a hilariously unconventional use of the space, but the way the tables/seats were laid out, I couldn’t see the audience members on the other side of the room when they were playing.
My overall impression
I could watch Andiel for hours and hours, but since we only get the one, I was grateful for how much was packed into it — singing, dancing, jogging, dogs!, danger, murder, heaven, heart. Andiel brings exuberant play to the show, the audience, the room. Its infectious and fun. A must see fringe show. Its different every time. I laughed hard many times.
