What I liked
Andel specifically asked that we write weird stuff when reviewing her show. So I’ll just say I met Andel in a clown class and whenever she got up I was so mesmerized by her hilarious, wild choices and incredible physicality. I would ask myself “What does this woman eat for breakfast? I need some of that.” Well fast forward to this show and what a treat to get to watch her for a whole hour.
Also, her show made me feel like we were studying abroad in college and out late on a Friday night in Barcelona, exhausted and delirious out of our minds from too much Sangria and not enough sleep, and I jokingly tell Andel to “entertain” us for an hour and she does it and then fast forward 20 years and we meet up in a cool place like Tokyo and then we’re all like “Andel! Do you remember when you blew our minds that crazy night in Barcelona?” And then we make her do it again and she does it because she gives so much to her audience. Love you Andel!
