What I liked

I liked the way she told the story as a child of different ages; how she felt as she was in this journey. She did an excellent job portraying the adults in her life and I thought it was excellent that the characters spoke in Chinese and English. The performance showed her skill as she was taught as a child but the artistic flare at the end when she became her own person was BEAUTIFUL!

What I didn't like

I don’t see any need for improvement! The script was excellent, the performance was excellent, not just in terms of her acrobatic skill but also her acting! I think her costume was very subtle and did not distract from the story but enhanced the story with the gradient gray! Lighting was also excellent. Overall, an excellent show and I would watch again and brings others to see this incredible performance!

My overall impression

Jun did an excellent job telling her story from a childs perspective and as she grew older. I had tears in my eyes when she discovered the art of acrobatics and not just the mechanics as was ingrained in her from childhood. What a beautiful transition! She was able to express the hardships and cruelty without dwelling on the trauma.
